East Channel Lighthouse, Grand Island, Michigan

The abandoned Grand Island East Channel Lighthouse is a weather-beaten historic old lighthouse built in 1863. It still stands along the shore of Lake Superior on Grand Island. The restored structure once guided ships into Munising Bay but was abandoned around the turn of the century. The lighthouse may be seen from cruise boats at Munising, Michigan.

Thank you Michael for this interesting lighthouse card, I like the fall colours too.
